West Ham United: Many fans were over the moon for Aaron Cresswell

West Ham United: Many fans were over the moon for Aaron Cresswell

Aaron Cresswell scored his second goal in two games during West Ham United’s 2-2 draw against AFC Bournemouth.

His was the goal that earned the draw, as he struck the ball on the half-volley from Felipe Anderson’s knockdown, as shown in the highlights video on the Sky Sports Football YouTube channel.

This follows his superb free-kick on his return to the team that helped secure the Hammers’ 2-0 win against Manchester United.

The left-back was understandably happy with himself following the game’s culmination:

Many West Ham fans are over the moon for him, especially considering the fact it seemed he wouldn’t get a look in with Arthur Masuaku playing four games in a row before getting sent off against Aston Villa, as per WhoScored.

However, things seem to have completely turned round in his favour, with the Democratic Republic of Congo international not even making the bench at the Vitality Stadium.

A selection of Twitter reaction to Cresswell’s performance, including posts from impressed West Ham fans, can be seen below:
