West Ham United have tweeted their congratulations to Manuel Lanzini for reaching 100 Premier League games for them.
This accolade comes just over four years after he signed for the club on an initial loan from United Arab Emirates based club Al-Jazira, which of course led to a permanent deal, as per Transfermarkt.
The Argentinian was given an award by the Premier League for becoming a centurion:

However, the only reward many Hammers fans were interested in the 26-year-old getting for his efforts is a new contract.
The Argentinian has started the season well, with his best game coming in the 1-1 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion, a game in which he assisted Javier Hernandez and was named Man of the Match by WhoScored – he also won the penalty that Mark Noble converted to open the scoring against Watford.
It turns out their wishes were answered, as later on in the day, West Ham put out another tweet revealing that the Argentinian has signed a new four-year-contract.
