West Ham United: These fans were impressed by Sebastien Haller’s performance

Sebastien Haller is now off the mark as a West Ham United player after scoring twice against Watford on Saturday.

The Frenchman signed for West Ham during the summer for a club-record fee and didn’t get much service on his debut against Manchester City (echoed by Mark Noble in his Evening Standard column), before missing the Brighton & Hove Albion match through injury.

However, he made the most of his chance to impress against Watford, bagging two goals to help the Hammers on their way to a 3-1 victory and he understandably seemed happy about it on Twitter:

He wasn’t the only one who was pleased to see those two goals go into the net, as they got many West Ham fans very excited about the prospect of watching him every week.

His acrobatic second was certainly the pick of the pair and highlighted that the former Eintracht Frankfurt frontman is far more than a mere target man.

With Marko Arnautovic, Andy Carroll and Lucas Perez all leaving London Stadium on a permanent basis this summer they desperately needed to bring someone in – it seems as though Haller will manage to make Hammers fans forget about the trio pretty quickly.

A selection of Twitter reaction to his performance, including tweets from thrilled West Ham fans, can be seen below:
