Problems on and off the field at West Ham United have seen the fans in the Transfer Tavern driven to drink as their move to the London Stadium looks to be all but a happy one.
Though Slaven Bilic’s winning two in a row in recent weeks have taken some of the pressure off his shoulders at long last, the manner in which they were defeated by Everton in the weekend just gone was barely a valiant one.
With problems perpetually plaguing the Irons’ time in their new home, reports from the Daily Star have at least taken their minds off them somewhat.
They claim the East London outfit are AGAIN keeping tabs on Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson, who saw his loan stint with those in claret and blue cut short by injury last term.
He’d spent the previous season on loan there too and recently made his injury comeback for the Gunners’ first-team in the EFL Cup.
With that in mind, they are reportedly keeping tabs on his situation at the Emirates as they weigh up making a THIRD move for the ex-Charlton youngster.
”Carl’s injury was a real shame. He was doing well at the club and we liked him. Would we have tried to sign him? Probably”, said a club source.
Should West Ham try again for Jenko? Does he have a future with Arsenal? Let us know below..
