West Ham would add much-needed quality to their ranks with signing of £13.5m-rated German

Most people are aware of the current trouble’s West Ham are facing, none more so than the Hammers packed in the Transfer Tavern. It has been a terrible season when everyone though it had the potential to be a good one and now West Ham have just a few games to turn around their fortunes.

The club has been a mess from top to bottom and the summer will provide the perfect window of opportunity to re-evaluate a lot of things about this historic team. Something that will defiantly need revitalising is the player recruitment system as the additions into the club of late haven’t been good enough and West Ham could still pay the price for that this season with relegation a real possibility at this stage.

It’s still in the hands of West Ham to control their Premier League fate and if they do survive this horrendous period, the Hammers have to jump straight into the transfer market for some new talent.

A player who could provide a huge energy and confidence boost around the London Stadium is Bayern Munich’s Sebastian Rudy, valued at £13.50 million on Transfermarkt. The German midfielder joined Bayern Munich at the start of this season and has been gifted a substantial run in the team, making 28 appearances thus far for one of the world’s best teams. Despite not playing badly, Rudy has already seen the club agree a deal for Leon Goretzka this summer, meaning his role in the team could be limited.

West Ham have had many problems all season long but their inability to control the midfield has been a real issue, with Cheikhou Kouyate and Mark Noble really struggling for form. If the Hammers do salvage Premier League safety, Rudy is a quality player that could bring a lot to a depleted West Ham team.

Thoughts Hammers?
