Fiorentina are scouting West Ham United youngster Sead Haksabanovic, that is according to a report from Sport Witness.
The 20-year-old joined the Hammers from Swedish side Halmstads BK in 2017, but has only managed to play 71 minutes of first-team football for them so far.
He has been forced to spend time away from East London on loan to get some first-team minutes under his belt. He joined Malaga for a short stint in 2018, before moving back to Sweden for a temporary spell with IFK Norrkoping which is where he is currently plying his trade.
Haksabanovic has done well in the Allsvenskan, scoring three goals and providing six assists from the wing in 22 appearances last season. He has also got off to a good start in this campaign, netting twice in five Europa League qualifiers.
That form has reportedly caught the eye of Fiorentina, with Swedish outlet Expressen claiming that the Serie A club have been monitoring his progress.
It is unclear whether West Ham would want to sell the youngster, especially given that he is now starting to show some good form in Sweden.
However, if West Ham were to entertain the notion of letting him go, a move to Fiorentina could be a very good one for the Montenegro international.
The Italian side have some excellent wingers, such as Federico Chiesa, Franck Ribery, Rachid Ghezzal and Riccardo Sottil. There are some vastly experienced names on that list, and players that Haksabanovic could learn a lot from having spent time on the wing this season.
They also tend to play either a 4-3-3 or 3-5-2 formation, both of which rely on having wide players and could therefore suit his style of play.
