West Ham fans here in the Transfer Tavern are as desperate as anyone for the season to end, with their beloved Hammers having been through the wringer in 2016/17, but there has been another development that’s left them saddened: Pedro Obiang will miss the rest of the season.
Europa League qualification elimination, worries regarding relegation during the winter, the botched move to the London Stadium and Dimitri Payet heading away in less than happy circumstances, there’s been plenty for Irons fans to frown about so far, so the Obiang development hasn’t been welcomed.

Obiang won’t play for us again. Someone will come in for him in the summer, no question. He’ll want to leave. Who wouldn’t atm?
