West Ham’s poor season isn’t going to get much better

West Ham slumped to yet another defeat on Saturday as the Hammers were beaten by Premier League newcomers Wolves.

Wolves’ new signing Adama Traore came off the bench to score a goal in injury time to make it four losses in four games for Manuel Pellegrini’s side.

After a summer where West Ham splashed the cash and brought in the former Manchester City boss, it was always going to take time for the side to adapt to a new style and adjust.

However, playing against a side that has only just been promoted should arguably have provided the Hammers with their first points of the season.

Following the game, star forward Marko Arnautovic spoke of how poor the result was and that West Ham must improve.

The Breakdown

Along with Felipe Anderson, Arnautovic has been one of the club’s few shining lights so far this season. So far this season, Arnautovic has scored two goals in four games and is showing why he might be considered as one of the better forwards in the league.

It might be a blessing in disguise that the Hammers will now have a two week break for the international break but when they return, they must get their season started. That won’t be easy, however as they will face Chelsea, Manchester United and Everton in the Premier League.

If the Hammers are to finally register a win, they’ll need their £22.5 million-rated striker back to his absolute best.

So West Ham fans, are you worried?
