West Ham United were thumped by Liverpool 4-0 in their opening Premier League fixture and Manuel Pellegrini will not have been impressed with what he saw.
The Hammers would have been hoping to have got off to a good start, however, their defeat at Anfield has shown that the Chilean will have his work cut out for him this season.
One man that does not look to be a part of the long campaign ahead is Reece Oxford and according to reports out in Germany, he may be able to get a permanent move away from the London Stadium this summer.
The 19-year-old has experience of playing in the Bundesliga following two rather successful loan spells with Borussia Monchengladbach and now it appears he could head back to the country once again.
A move would definitely make sense for Oxford this summer, should he have the opportunity to get one.
The defender had impressed for the Hammers during the very early stages of his career, however, he has struggled to get the first-team chances to showcase his ability.
However, it remains to be seen if Hannover will choose to make an offer for Oxford or if they go for one of the others that they have been rumoured with an interest in.
