‘What a joke’, ‘Weak’ – Angered Liverpool fans react to early team news on Twitter

Liverpool fans here in the Tavern are looking to get Monday’s disappointment out of their system, as they hope for the best in this weekend’s encounter.

Jurgen Klopp’s side suffered a shock defeat at the hands of bottom side Swansea City in Monday night’s game, as a lacklustre Liverpool side failed to punish the Swans defence in what was a bad day at the office for the Premier League’s meanest attack.

However, some shocking news has arisen from the mouth of Jurgen Klopp himself, as Liverpool’s Twitter account took to notifying fans that Mignolet will play against West Brom this weekend, after quoting a pre-match interview with Klopp.

Following the club’s post, fans were quick to jump on the back of the Belgian with some quite strong words against the goalkeeper, as they look to have their opinion hit home.

Nevertheless, here’s a look at exactly what sort of reaction supporters gave off on social media…
