What does the future hold for Marco Asensio at Real Madrid?

Liverpool will have high hopes from here on in until the end of the season as they’re in with a good chance of securing at least one piece of silverware.

The Reds find themselves battling Manchester City for the Premier League title and they have the opportunity to go one better in the Champions League in the current campaign.

But, one thing that the Reds could do with looking at in the summer transfer window is bringing in an attacking midfielder, as Jurgen Klopp has opted to go with three central midfielders this season.

Interestingly, it appears as if the Reds may already have someone in mind, as according to Don Balon (via Sportskeeda), Liverpool are interested in a summer move for Marco Asensio.

The Spaniard has already been through a lot in his young football career as he was chosen as Cristiano Ronaldo’s replacement (as per Calciomercato, via at Real Madrid earlier on this season. But, it’s safe to say that he’s done a good job of filling the huge void as he’s managed to produce five goals and five assists thus far.

Asensio can definitely take Liverpool to new heights in years to come as he has the potential to become one of the world’s best and he’s already managed to produce a number of valuable contributions in Europe and domestically. Also, the Spaniard has an incredible passing ability and can find the back of the net from pretty much anywhere, as well as being almost impossible to tackle with his dribbling ability and skills constantly causing havoc.

One thing that has been missing for Klopp’s side at crucial times recently has been the final pass, as the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino have had to create their own magic. So, everything would be complete in the final third if FSG sign Asensio, as the attacker has a knack for playing defence-splitting passes.
