Wolverhampton Wanderers have certainly enjoyed themselves during their first year back in the Premier League.
Although there was plenty of expectation during the summer about what Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, not many would have believed that they would be able to produce some of the results they have managed to achieve.
The Molineux outfit have managed to take points from Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal already this season, whilst also giving Tottenham Hotspur a good run for their money in a home clash.
However, there has been some concern with the way Nuno has seen his side against some of the ‘smaller’ sides in the Premier League.
For all of Wolves’ impressive feats, they have come up short against teams like Huddersfield Town and Cardiff City, with many of the club’s faithful feeling they should have picked up points against those type of opposition.
Although the future for Nuno looks extremely bright at Wolves, it does leave a couple of different questions that could pop up for the Portuguese man.
The first possible question could concern the fact that they have not been able to achieve results against sides that they should have and when it comes down to the business end of the season, those points could be the difference.
However, another question could be that other clubs decide to take a closer look at Nuno, especially if he continues to get Wolves to outperform some of their stronger opponents and continue to pick up impressive results.
