Liverpool won’t accept anything less than an elusive piece of silverware under Jurgen Klopp in the current campaign, having come on leaps and bounds in the Premier League.
The Reds currently have one hand on the Premier League title, with defending champions Manchester City trailing behind by one point in second position.
Indeed, Jurgen Klopp has relied heavily on transfer windows gone by to help bolster his squad in the hope that silverware can be secured. But, early-season title rivals Chelsea may have already saved the club millions, as Rhian Brewster decided to snub the Blues to join Liverpool, because he didn’t see a pathway to become a first-team player.
Of course, this won’t bother the Reds as they managed to secure one of the most exciting talents in English football.
Sadly, the Englishman has spent a large period of time out on the sidelines due to injury, but he has already started to show signs of something special during his time on Merseyside. He managed to score eight goals and provided five assists a couple of seasons back and produce six goals and seven assists in the last campaign.
Liverpool supporters and staff have very high hopes for the striker, who managed to help the England Under-17 side win the World Cup, as he secured the golden boot with eight goals.
So, the Reds will be thankful that Chelsea’s lack of first-team opportunities has gifted them a special talent that has the ability to provide a goal threat at the pinnacle of the attack for years to come at Anfield, having already displayed his qualities on the international stage and domestically.
