Ryan Fraser is having a cracking season with Bournemouth, and that has not gone unnoticed.
According to the Daily Mirror, Arsenal are keen on signing the 25-year-old this summer with their reported interest easy to understand.
Down that left flank, Fraser has been absolutely menacing, leaving right-backs for dead before whipping in a dangerous ball or bursting into the box.
Looking at Unai Emery’s current wide options at Arsenal, Fraser is exactly the kind of player the Spaniard could do with, and the Scottish winger has made his admiration for a club like the Gunners no secret.
“They are a huge club, a massive club. When you see your name thrown around you always think to yourself that you are a Bournemouth player and you try to do well,” Fraser told Sky Sports when discussing all of the speculation surrounding his future.
“‘I’m not going to lie, you do feel good, especially when it’s a massive club.”
You can expect Bournemouth to fight tooth and nail when it comes to trying to hold onto one of their key assets, especially after chairman Jeff Mostyn’s recent words (Daily Mirror).
However, it would not be a surprise to see Arsenal come in with a big offer, an offer the Cherries may find too good to turn down.
And from Fraser’s perspective, the Scotland international may feel the opportunity to play for a club like Arsenal could possibly not come ever again.
If the north London outfit’s interest materialises into a serious bid, then everything could point towards Fraser switching the Vitality Stadium for the Emirates.
