Wolverhampton Wanderers will be desperate to secure a European spot in the current campaign, with the January transfer window holding the key.
The Midlands club have been one of the surprise packages in the Premier League this season, as Nuno Espirito Santo continues to work wonders at Molineux.
However, securing a striker must be his main priority in the January transfer window, as Wolves’ attackers have struggled to produce a consistent flow of goals so far this season.
Interestingly, it’s thought that Wolves are closing in on the loan signing of Tammy Abraham from Chelsea.
Indeed, the young forward has been the standout performer in the Championship this season, scoring 16 goals in 20 appearances, so it comes as no surprise that Wolves are looking to secure his services.
Fosun and Wolves’ main aim at this moment in time will be to secure a European place, which could easily come true if Abraham makes his way to Molineux as Nuno Santo has been able to get the very best out of his side, but the end-product has been missing most of the time.
Wolves are an attacker away from reaching the next level, which would be qualifying for Europe in their case.
Abraham is one of the most promising players in the whole of English football and will no doubt go on to become a future star in the Premier League, having shown that he can score bags of goals. So, with creativity flowing right the way through the Wolves squad at Molineux, Abraham will find a countless amount of chances falling at his feet.
