The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are getting more and more frustrated as days turn into weeks without any more signings being announced. The club recently tweeted the news that their young academy product, Jordan Williams, would be joining Rochdale on the expiry of his contract with a link to the Liverpool website, but the fans weren’t having any of it.

Jurgen Klopp has been one of the Premier League’s most active managers so far this summer, the German gaffer has already wrapped up a big-money deal for Monaco’s Fabinho and he’ll also see the benefit of last summer’s deal to bring in Naby Keita in just a few weeks time. However, there’s just no pleasing some people, and Liverpool fans are hard to keep content, especially when it involves signings.
The club had been heavily linked with both Nabil Fekir and Alisson Becker, two players that would drastically improve the club’s options between the sticks and in attacking midfield. It wasn’t to be though and the Fekir deal fell through at the 11th hour whilst the Alisson deal never really materialised, leaving Liverpool fans gutted and having to look at other options in goal and behind the striker.

That’s not Fekir

Don’t tweet unless it’s announcing players is the general consensus here

As you can see, our regulars in the Tavern aren’t in the slightest bit fussed over the future of Williams, and would much rather see their club tweet news surrounding the first team.
