International ‘hard man’ Walter Samuel has the Barclays Premiership in his sights and specifically London it would seem, but with a £90,000 a week wage request with his current club, could Arsenal, Chelsea or Tottenham foot the bill?
Arguably one of football’s toughest defenders has his eyes on the Premier League as his last hurrah in the beautiful game. Argentinean born Walter Samuel, infamously nicknamed ‘The Wall’ is reported by The Daily Mail to be hoping to engineer a move to Arsenal, Chelsea or Spurs in the summer after refusing to sign a new deal at his current club, Inter Milan.
That’s all well and Arsenal have Mr. Wenger to convince that anyone is worth buying, Chelsea according to the media anyway are in turmoil and Spurs have excitment signing killing wage cap!
The 34 year old centre back has scoped out the London teams for ‘one final payday’ and with the former Real Madrid, Roma and Boca Juniors defender available on a free transfer by the summer months, only time will tell what the future holds for the Argentine veteran.
