The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern have been listening to comments from their young midfielder, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, as he’s hailed the support of the nation as “fantastic” after the Three Lions 2-1 win over Tunisia on Monday. The fans will be hoping that Loftus-Cheek can continue his superb form into the domestic season as they read his comments on the Chelsea website.

The young midfielder has had a tough start to Chelsea career in the senior squad. He’s had to settle for a place as a fringe player, making appearances in the domestic cups and then substitute appearances in the Premier League. However, the season just gone saw him make a name for himself on-loan at Selhurst Park where he put in a real graft for Roy Hodson’s Crystal Palace, making 24 appearances and scoring two goals.
Next season Loftus-Cheek will have forced the hand of the Chelsea hierarchy and he will have to be thrown into the first team. At the age of just 22 he has plenty of time to establish himself as a Chelsea legend and he can do just that if he has some patience and waits for his chance, just like he has done so far. His year away at Crystal Palace looks to have helped him mature as a player and if he can build on that and his World Cup experience with England then his potential will know no bounds.
You can read our local Blues’ verdict on Loftus-Cheek here:
Please don't let this man leave. He's a Hallmark of our academy. Signing Bakayoko and letting RLC leave on loan last season was a huge blunder. Give the man his deserved chance instead of tweeting his great performances for Crystal Palace and England.

We MUST make Rubey a regular next season. It’s a shame we’re not giving talented youngster a chance. This also goes for @KurtZouma . We don’t need another Salah, De Bruyne and Lukaku situation.

He has also said he wants to start in the XI squad next season, why don’t you talk about that?

And has also said that he wants a better role at Chelsea next season. WAKE UP!

Any talk of loaning out or selling Reuben must be quickly dismissed this young must be at CFC for a very long time any other decision is complete and absolute lunacy.

As you can see, the Chelsea fans propping our bar really do not want to see Loftus-Cheek leave Stamford Bridge and it would be a good move for them to give him a chance next season.
