Will Tony Find £10M For Talent Or Opt For A Cheap Flop?

Tony Pulis has set his sights on Peter Crouch as he continues his search to introduce an experienced centre forward to the Potters frontline this summer.

The Stoke boss is ready to splash £10m on the England international, and with a striker his main priority the Spurs man certainly fits the bill.

The 6ft 7” hit-man began his career at White Hart Lane before going on to play for a host of clubs that has seen him rack up 456 appearances bagging 143 goals. He also has an impressive record at International level that has seen him rattle the back of the net 22 times during his 42 outings.

Since Crouch has returned to North London he has played a major role up top leading the line for Tottenham, and during the past two seasons has played 82 games. Despite this, Harry Redknapp is looking to add something different to his strike force, and that could mean Crouch making way and on the lookout for his 11th club in 13 years!

He would certainly be a fantastic addition at the Britannia stadium, and with Rory Delap launching them throws ‘Crouch bound’… well that must be every defender’s nightmare.

I think this would be a great signing for the ever improving Stoke City, and if he is wearing the red and white stripes next season then many thanks goes to the injury prone, greedy flop that is Carlton Cole… You’ve definitely had a lucky escape with that one.
