West Ham United fans here in the Tavern will be looking forward to next season, as they’ll be hoping that their side can challenge for a European place.
Manuel Pellegrini will be looking to hit the ground running at the London Stadium, as he’ll want to enjoy a successful time of things back in the top-flight of English football. Indeed, many of our local residents are already looking forward to the future, as the former Manchester City boss may be able to bring success to the English capital.
Although, the summer transfer window will be of huge importance as Pellegrini will be looking to bring in a number of players. Interestingly, the Colombian boss may look to bring a couple of South American players to the club this summer, having seen how effective the likes of Gabriel Jesus and Alexis Sanchez have been.
Therefore, it’s time West Ham landed these TWO South Americans…
Federico Fazio’s time in England did not end in joy as he was axed by Tottenham Hotspur following only one season of regular football.
Surprisingly, the Argentinian has been rather impressive since moving away from North London, as he has developed into a solid defender having enjoyed regular first-team football at Sevilla and now AS Roma.
So, a shot at redemption in the Premier League may be too tempting for the 31-year-old to pass up.
Interestingly, the Brazilian was one of current club Napoli’s standout performers this season, as his four goals and five assists helped them challenge for the Serie A title.
Sadly, the central midfielder narrowly missed out on a place in the Brazilian World Cup squad this summer, so a move to the Premier League may give him a bit more exposure next season.
