The appointment of Sam Allardyce completely changed the outlook of the Toffees’ season, as the former England manager has redefined the football played at Goodison Park since taking charge of the club.
Everton are arguably at their most promising stage in terms of future development within the youth ranks, as Kieran Dowell, Tom Davies, Jonjoe Kelly and Dominic Calvert-Lewin all hold the potential to become future legends at Goodison Park.
Although, there’s a new kid on the block and his name is Bassala Sambou. The 20-year-old currently plays in Everton’s U23s squad, and his goal this week has been one that caught headlines for all the right reasons.
