Wolverhampton Wanderers and their strikers have had their struggles in front of goal this season, despite their position in the Premier League.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are currently ninth in the division, however, they have managed to score just 23 times.
The Molineux outfit had been linked with a permanent move for Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham, who is currently out on loan with Aston Villa.
However, it appears he could be about to join the Wolves on a temporary deal.
The forward has been impressing with the Villans in the Championship, having scored 16 goals in his 20 league outings so far for Dean Smith’s side.
Abraham would be an excellent addition for Wolves heading into the second half of the Premier League season.
The 21-year-old has already shown that he can be a prolific forward and a move to another top-flight club could help him to develop his own game even further.
Wolves look unlikely to face relegation, however, the potential addition of Abraham should help them to find the back of the net a little more regularly.
