Wolverhampton Wanderers will be desperate to stamp their authority on the Premier League after earning promotion with flying colours last season.
Indeed, the Midlands club are looking to spend big this summer and have already added a number of fresh faces to their squad ahead of the new season. But, it looks as if they’re not finished yet, as according to the Telegraph, Wolves are closing in on a deal to sign Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo.
I’ts believed that Wolves are closing in on a deal to sign Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo for £25 million.
Man United boss Jose Mourinho has been told he needs to offload one of United’s existing five central defenders to make way for Maguire or another centre-half recruit and Rojo is the one likely to make way.
And, it looks as if the Argentine might struggle to play another game for United, as he has not joined up with United’s squad for their pre-season tour of the US.
Wolves are on the hunt for a central defender, with Manchester United’s Marcos Rojo being identified as the target. Importantly, it looks as if the Midlands club will land their man this summer, as United are looking to offload the South American to make room for Harry Maguire.
So, with the Midlands club closing in on his signature, it looks as if they’re going to be a force to be reckoned with this season.
