Wolverhampton Wanderers could look to add to their squad this January with one Portugal international star.
The Benfica midfielder has been in red-hot form for the Primeira Liga side this season already, having netted six goals in eight competitive matches.
And, it is no surprise that Wolves are the latest side to have become interested in the 28-year-old, given the connections they have.
Pizzi is currently represented by super agent Jorge Mendes, as per Transfermarkt, and the Premier League outfit have already managed to exploit that relationship to bring a number of players to the club.
As well as the relationship they have with Mendes, the club has what appears to be an ever-growing contingent of players from Portugal, with the likes of Rui Patricio, Joao Mouthino, Ruben Neves and Diogo Jota already at the club.
Pizzi would be an excellent addition to Wolves in January, although it remains to be seen if they can convince Benfica to sell him halfway through the campaign.
The January transfer window is notoriously difficult for clubs to conduct business as teams want to keep their best players and the midfielder will likely be one man to fall in that particular category.
However, Nuno may look to use his relationship with Mendes to try and help push a move through this winter for the £18million-rated ace, as per Transfermarkt.
