Wolverhampton Wanderers will be desperate to climb up the table and into a European spot in the current campaign, with a successful January transfer window helping their cause.
The Midlands club went through a rough patch not so long ago after a very strong start to proceedings, so they’ll be desperate to ensure consistency from here on in. Interestingly, it appears as if they’re already looking at a possible January addition, as according to Le10 Sport (via HITC), Wolves are interested in Nicolas Pepe.
It’s understood that the 23-year-old caught the eye of the Wolves scout who was present at Lille’s win against Montpellier in midweek.
Indeed, the winger has plenty of potential and is already establishing himself as one of the hottest topics in world football, with 10 goals and seven assists to his name in 17 appearances this season.
Wolves already have the likes of Helder Costa, Ivan Cavaleiro, Diogo Jota and Adama Traore in wide areas, but Pepe would easily top them all.
Nicolas Pepe arguably deserves a move to the Premier League at some point in the near future, having impressed over in France in the current campaign.
Although, with the likes of Spurs, Arsenal and Everton previously registering an interest, it may be difficult for the Midlands club to bring him to Molineux.
