Wolverhampton Wanderers fans here in the Tavern will be hoping that their side can enjoy a successful first season back in the Premier League, with a European place being a possibility.
Indeed, the Midlands club won’t have too many complaints about the last campaign as they managed to secure the Championship title with ease. And, it looks as if they’re getting ready for the start of next season, as according to Milliyet, Wolverhampton Wanderers have set their sights on Fenerbahce midfielder Josef de Souza.
Interestingly, it’s understood that Wolves are eyeing a €12.5 (£10.9) million swoop for Brazilian star Josef de Souza.
And, much to the delight of many of our local residents here in the Tavern, it’s thought that the Turkish side are prepared to offload the central midfielder this summer.
Fenerbahce director of football Damien Comolli will consider offers for De Souza in the coming days, with West Bromwich Albion also interested in the midfielder.
So, it looks as if Wolves are eyeing a swoop for Josef de Souza. Indeed, the Brazilian would be the perfect partner for Ruben Neves in the next campaign as they would compliment each other’s game, with the Fenerbahce man moving forward into advanced positions to help contribute in the final third, which would leave Ruben Neves in a pocket of space to work his magic.
