Wolves: Fans delighted after big win in Europe

Many Wolves fans have responded to the tweet from the Wolves account which signalled the end of their 2-1 win away at Slovan Bratislava.

Wolves fought back after being 1-0 down at half-time, thanks to two goals in five minutes through Romain Saiss and Raul Jimenez.

They now lead the group after winning back-to-back wins in the group, after beating Besiktas in Istanbul a few weeks ago.

Andraz Sporar put the home side ahead after scoring through a deflected shot which snuck past Rui Patricio.

Wolves came out in the second half as a different team. Indeed, Saiss managed to equalise in the 58th minute before Raul Jimenez slotted home a penalty in the 63rd minute.

Diogo Jota was later sent off in the 87th minute after receiving two yellow cards within one minute leaving a tense finish for the visitors. Thankfully, they were able to hold on and put themselves in charge of the group with three games to go.

Unsurprisingly, Wolves fans were delighted to see their side win away from home in the Europa League, with many now seeing the last 32 in the touching distance.
