Wolves fans on Twitter open to club paying £15m for Patricio

Wolves have put a good run together in the Premier League following their promotion from the Championship and currently sit seventh in the table on 15 points.

And one player who has certainly played his part in the club’s great start to the season is goalkeeper Rui Patricio.

Patricio initially arrived at Molineux on a free a transfer after terminating his Sporting Lisbon contract following an attack on the Portugal international and his former team-mates back in May at the Primeira Liga outfit’s training ground.

However, according to Sky Sports, Wolves have since agreed a £15m compensation fee with the Portuguese side after they had threatened legal action and sent a complaint to FIFA suggesting Patricio had breached his contract.

Given his form in this moment of time and the overall experience he has brought to Wolves, £15m is still a relatively cheap amount to pay considering what Patricio brings to the table.
