Wolverhampton Wanderers could be about to add another Portuguese international to their set up this summer.
The versatile 32-year-old, who can play as either a midfielder or in the defence, is available on a free transfer following his decision to leave Genoa earlier in the month.
It is believed the Molineux outfit could have competition from one of their Premier League rivals this summer to land him, with Everton also taking an interest in him.
The player is extremely experienced as he has featured over 50 times for his country, winning a number of league titles whilst with Dynamo Kiev in Ukraine and could become a real coup of signing for Wolves.
The club have already added the likes of Rui Patricio and Joao Moutinho amongst a host of others from Iberia.
Veloso would be a solid signing for Wolves this summer, despite the transfer window being closed.
Due to him being a free agent, he will still be allowed to join the club outside of the window, however, with Everton also interested, they could find themselves in a battle to bring him to the Premier League.
Nuno could look to use the Portuguese connections already at the club to try and lure Veloso to Molineux, but with Marco Silva at Everton, he could also try and do the same.
