Wolverhampton Wanderers will be desperate to return to winning ways after last night’s defeat, as they were beginning to build up ahead of steam.
Nuno Espirito Santo will now have his sights set on their next game on Boxing Day against a struggling Fulham side, with three points expected if they play to their full potential.
However, it appears as if the Midlands club have received a huge setback on the transfer front, as according to Europe Mercado (via HITC), Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Morgan Samson.
Wolves were previously linked with a move for the Frenchman.
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in securing the services of Morgan Sanson from Marseille.
The Frenchman has been very impressive over in his home country in the current campaign, with three goals and four assists to his name. And, he has the ability to play in the middle of midfield, in more of an attacking area and defensively, so he could be a valuable asset.
Ruben Neves has been linked with a move away next month, so perhaps the Midlands club may be eyeing the Frenchman as a potential replacement.
Although, with Spurs also in the hunt for the impressive midfielder it comes as a huge blow, as it now looks as if Wolves will struggle to compete with the pulling power of Champions League football.
