Many Wolverhampton Wanderers fans would have set their sights on Premier League safety prior to the start of this season, but it’s safe to say that Nuno Espirito Santo and Fosun have brought supporters’ wildest dreams to life as Wolves continue to defy expectations in the top-flight.
Indeed, the Midlands club have shown that you don’t have to be performing at the top of the Premier League to attract big talents in transfer windows gone by, with Ruben Neves’ arrival being a prime example of that.
And, it appears as if Nuno Espirito Santo is on the hunt for the club’s next possible addition, as according to Sky Sports, Wolves are interested in FC Copenhagen’s Robert Skov.
What’s the News?
Wolves are among a number of sides who have been watching Robert Skov’s progress this season.
The Denmark international operates as a winger and he’s made all the headlines over in his home country this season, having produced a whopping 24 goals and six assists in 36 appearances in all competitions.
Many Wolves fans will still be drooling over Adama Traore’s performance against Cardiff City at the weekend, but hearing news of Skov being linked with a move to Molineux will be sure to divert their attention.
One thing that has let the Midlands side down at times this season has been their finishing in the final third, with Ivan Cavaleiro, Adama Traore and Helder Costa struggling to apply the finishing touch in front of goal. However, one thing that Skov can guarantee is goals as he’s been more prolific than Raul Jimenez in the current campaign.
Of course, with the likes of Spurs, West Ham United and Watford all fighting for his signature it’s not going to be easy for Wolves to lure him to Molineux, but that hasn’t stopped them from working their magic in the past as they’ve blown a number of big clubs out of the water.
Wolves fans, do you believe that Skov is better than what you’ve already got in attacking areas? Join the discussion by commenting below.
