However, the Midlands club do face competition, as representatives from Swansea City, Aston Villa and Norwich City were all up in Scotland last week to watch the highly-rated defender in action.
The 21 years-old has burst onto the scene for Aberdeen over the past year or so and is a man in demand.
Wolves could do with bringing in another central defender at some point in the future as they look to assert even more dominance on proceedings.
