Wolverhampton Wanderers have defied expectations so far this season as they continue to impress in the top-flight of English football.
Nuno Espirito Santo has completely redefined Wolves since he joined the club as they find themselves in a position to challenge for a European spot. And, to make things even better, it appears as if the Portuguese boss is eyeing a potential addition, as according to the Sun on Sunday (30/09; page 59) (via HITC), Wolverhampton Wanderers are keeping tabs on Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna.
Wolverhampton Wanderers are believed to be keeping tabs on Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna.
However, the Midlands club do face competition, as representatives from Swansea City, Aston Villa and Norwich City were all up in Scotland last week to watch the highly-rated defender in action.
The 21 years-old has burst onto the scene for Aberdeen over the past year or so and is a man in demand.
Wolves could do with bringing in another central defender at some point in the future as they look to assert even more dominance on proceedings.
Indeed, it’s interesting that Wolves have been monitoring the progress of the defender in recent times, as they may be limbering up for a potential swoop in the future.
