Wolves in wonderful agreement as club release official statement

Wolverhampton Wanderers fans in the Transfer Tavern will be delighted with how things have gone this summer and will hope it can continue.

The Molineux outfit are returning back to the Premier League for the first time in six years and Nuno Espirito Santo has been busy bringing in players that would be regarded as coups for the club by those in the bar.

The likes of Rui Patricio and Raul Jimenez have completed moves, whilst Wily Boly has turned his loan move into a permanent switch, whilst reports have suggested that the former Porto man is looking at some hugely ambitious targets.

However, Nuno may have just made his biggest signing of the summer as the club’s official website has announced that Ruben Neves has committed to a new long-term deal.

The 21-year-old was Wolves best player last season and had attracted plenty of interest from club’s across Europe, however, he has pledged his future to the Molineux outfit by signing a new five-year deal.

Landlord’s Verdict

The Wolves fans in the Tavern will be delighted that Neves has signed a new long-term deal with the club. The Portuguese midfielder had been hugely influential for the side during their Championship-winning season and many of the locals would have been concerned that some of Europe’s biggest clubs would have been interested in a deal for him.
