Indeed, the club are undertaking a massive recruitment drive at academy level as they shift their gaze towards market leaders Chelsea and Manchester City.
The owners, Fosun International, have committed to a six-fold increase in their budget, confirming yet again that they mean business.
Wolves certainly made a number of positive moves on the transfer front during the summer as they weren’t afraid to spend big, with plenty more successful transfer windows to come.
