Wolves’ senior officials to have meeting about possible January transfer targets

Wolverhampton Wanderers have started life back in the Premier League in fine fashion, despite having hit a rocky patch of form.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side currently sit in mid-table following a good opening display, however, they are now on the slide with three consecutive defeats harming their record.

The club certainly have the players capable of getting things back on track, with a number of stars that many would not have expected to have been turning out for the Molineux outfit.

However, there is a general consensus that the club will need to improve their squad in certain areas and it appears that the January transfer window will see some activity from them.

According to a report by The Express and Star, a meeting is set to take place in the coming weeks between their top brass to finalise their January transfer targets.

There are always a number of rumours between now and the window opening, however, it appears that Liverpool outcast, Divock Origi, could be one that is on their radar.

The Verdict:

After a rather successful summer in recruitment, the Wolves fans will be excited to see who the club try and bring in the winter to try and help improve their side.

Many will feel that an additional attacker is required as they have struggled to find the back of the net recently, having hit just nine all season.

Origi could be an excellent addition for them, as he would also help to bring a creative threat to their play as well, although it would remain to be seen if they are able to bring him to Molineux from Liverpool.
