Wolverhampton Wanderers found themselves in an unfamiliar position yesterday as they suffered a defeat in front of home support at Molineux.
The Midlands club have been one of the surprise packages in the Premier League so far this season, with a big upset not too far away after taking in their recent results. Although, it appears as if they’re already looking towards the January transfer window, as according to Sun Sport, Wolves scouted Aberdeen’s Scott McKenna last weekend and are lining up a move for Sheffield Wednesday’s Adam Reach.
Wolves are eyeing a move for Sheffield Wednesday’s Adam Reach in January.
The 25-year-old has been in superb form and caught the eye recently with stunning goals against Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion.
Interestingly, Wolves’ scouts have been watching him and are ready to act when the transfer window reopens.
Also, it’s thought that the Midlands club scouted Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna last weekend as they want a closer look at the Scotsman, after being linked with a move for the in-demand player.
Wolves managed to bring in a number of quality players during the summer transfer window, and it already looks as if they’re trying to invest in all the right areas in January.
Indeed, the Midlands club could do with bringing in a versatile player like Adam Reach that could really make use of the left wing-back position, while Scott McKenna would provide competition at the heart of the defence.
