Wolves spotted watching Ligue One clash on Wednesday

Wolverhampton Wanderers managed to pull off a huge upset on Wednesday night when they beat Chelsea in the Premier League.

Nuno Espirito Santo saw his side come from behind to defeat the Blues in what will be a memorable night at Molineux.

However, it appears Wolves were busy away from the pitch as well as January edges ever closer.

According to girondins4ever.com, the Premier League outfit had a scout in attendance at Girondins de Bordeaux’s match with Saint-Etienne.

The report does not note who the club could have been watching, however, it appears as though the French side have at least one player on their books attract interest.

Wolves were allegedly joined by Manchester United, Olympique de Marseille, Stade Rennes, Paris Saint-Germain, FC Lorient and SD Eibar in the stands overseeing the action.

The Verdict:

Wolves will likely be busy in looking to add players to their squad in the winter as they look to bolster their chances of survival in the Premier League.

Nuno’s side had come under fire recently, although the win against Chelsea will have shown what his team are capable of achieving in the top-flight.

One area that Wolves could look to add to is in the attack, with chances not being finished as often as they should, however, it remains to be seen if either Bordeaux or Saint-Etienne have the solution for to that problem.
