Wolverhampton Wanderers may have had an incredible season to date, however, Nuno Espirito Santo will want to see his side improve on their performance when they host Brighton and Hove Albion at Molineux on Saturday.
Wolves are currently on a two-game losing streak which saw them miss out on an FA Cup final and saw them embarrassed by Southampton in the Premier League. The race for the seventh place finish is still firmly on and it appears that the club have been handed some encouraging news ahead of the meeting with their relegation-threatened opponents.
What’s the News?
According to a match preview by Sky Sports, Nuno will have a fully-fit squad to choose from on Saturday afternoon.
Ryan Bennett could make a return to the side after he was an unused substitute in their encounter with Southampton last weekend, however, it is expected that Wolves will not make too many changes to their starting XI.
Wolves appear to have struggled against some of the Premier League’s struggling sides this season, whilst seemingly being impressive against the teams above them in the division. However, that will need to change on Saturday if they are to have any hopes of potentially obtaining European football next season.
And, the news that Nuno has a fully-fit squad available to him for selection is certainly encouraging heading into the game.
The likes of Ruben Neves, Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota should cause Brighton problems in defence with their ability of creating and scoring opportunities when in the final third.
The availability of Willy Boly, Conor Coady and Rui Patricio at the back should also be useful as Chris Hughton’s side have found it difficult going forward and they could make it harder for the likes of Glenn Murray once again.
Wolves fans, how encouraging is it that Nuno has a fully-fit squad for the Brighton encounter? Join in with the discussion below by sharing your thoughts with us.
