Wolverhampton Wanderers will be desperate to return to winning ways in the Premier League after failing to secure a positive result against Crystal Palace.
The Midlands club can still meet their aim of securing European football in the current campaign, but improvements are needed on the consistency front in order for this to happen.
Although, it appears as if Nuno Espirito Santo is eyeing a possible addition, as according to Sun Sport, Wolves are trying to beat Juventus and Inter Milan to sign Francisco Trincao.
The 19-year-old is Sporting Braga’s prize asset but they are resigned to losing him to one of Europe’s top leagues.
It’s thought that Nuno Espirito Santo rates the striker very highly and hopes the club, through sporting director Kevin Thelwell, can do a deal.
Interestingly, Wolves hope Trincao’s links to agent Jorge Mendes, with their own close relationship to him, will sway things in their favour.
Nuno Santo will be looking to make the most of his links to Jorge Mendes as he could play a key part in any potential move for the impressive youngster.
Indeed, the Midlands club will be desperate to secure the services of another highly-rated player after witnessing Ruben Neves’ rise to stardom since moving to England.
But, Juventus and Inter Milan’s presence will be daunting.
