Wolves want Sardar Azmoun on loan

Wolverhampton Wanderers will be delighted with their result against West Ham United on Tuesday night, as they completely dominated Manuel Pellegrini’s side from start to finish.

The Midlands club have been very impressive in the current campaign, with a European spot well within their sights at this moment in time. And, it appears as if Nuno Espirito Santo is looking to strengthen his squad, as according to Sky Sports, Wolves want Sardar Azmoun on an initial loan deal.

Wolves are in talks to sign Rubin Kazan striker Sardar Azmoun.

Interestingly, Wolves are discussing a £1.75 million loan fee for the remainder of the current campaign, plus an £11.4 million buying option.

And, it’s believed that the Russian club will agree to the above conditions but want an obligation to buy, while Wolves want the option to buy the 24-year-old.

Indeed, Wolves have been light on options at the pinnacle of the attack in the current campaign, but Raul Jimenez’s brilliance has meant that reinforcements aren’t desperately needed, but signing Azmoun would definitely be helpful.

Sardar Azmoun has shown that he can handle the pressure of international football over the years, having produced an impressive 27 goals from 44 games.

The Midlands club would definitely strengthen their European push by bringing in the Iranian international, so it comes as no surprise that Wolves have set their sights on sealing a Deadline Day deal for the forward.
