Wolverhampton Wanderers will be hoping that they can build on their win against Chelsea last time out by securing all three points against Newcastle United tomorrow.
The Midlands club have been very impressive under the guidance of Nuno Espirito Santo this season, but results haven’t always gone their way.
Although, it looks as if they’ve set their sights on a possible addition at this moment in time, as according to A Bola (via Sports Mole), Wolves are willing to pay £10 million for Diogo Queiros.
It’s understood that Wolves have indicated that they are willing to pay £10 million in order to secure the services of Porto defender Diogo Queiros.
Indeed, the youngster currently represents Porto’s ‘B’ team, and he has appeared in seven matches for the club this season, including one in the UEFA Youth League.
Wolves have secured the services of a number of promising Portuguese players that have gone on to have a big impact at Molineux already, so there’s no reason as to why they shouldn’t try and work their magic once again.
So, Fosun could be called into action to provide the £10 million that Wolves are believed to be willing to pay for Queiros, as the January transfer window edges closer.
The Midlands club already have the likes of Ryan Bennett, Willy Boly, Conor Coady and Romain Saiss, who can all play at the heart of the defence, but bringing in another defender would help their cause massively.
