Nuno Espirito Santo is expected to bolster Wolves’ attacking line in the upcoming transfer window.

The Championship winners have made a decent start to life in the Premier League, but a lack of goals could be a concern heading into the busy festive period. Wolves targeted Andre Silva in the summer, but the Portugal international was snapped up by Sevilla. Nuno will try again to improve his attacking option when the window reopens in less than two months.

Reports suggest that Wolves could rekindle their interest in Liverpool outcast Divock Origi. The Belgian has found game time limited under manager Jurgen Klopp and is expected to leave the club in the near future - yet the ex-Lille man has been nowhere near his best in recent years and would be a risky signing for the West Midlands outfit.

Instead, Wolves should target Bordeaux star Francois Kamano.

Valued at £10.8m by Transfermarkt, the youngster was a crucial player for his side last season, helping them secure a place in the Europa League. Kamano’s hot streak in front of goal has continued into the new campaign, finding the back of the net eight times already in Ligue 1.

The 22-year-old is primarily a left winger but could easily be moulded into a striker. An explosive winger with strength and bags of pace, Kamano would be a nightmare for Premier League defenders to deal with. His eye for goal would help Wolves finally find their form in front of goal, and could even help them push for European qualification at the end of the season.

The youngster is still developing and improving with every game - it won’t be long before top European sides register an interest in the forward.

As such, Wolves need to act quickly to lure him to Molineux in the New Year.
