Wolves have demonstrated once again their financial power after a number of impressive players have come through Molineux this summer.

Having eased to the Championship title in the end, Wolves bossed the second tier of English football again thanks to their wealthy backing, seeing as they were able to recruit a number of stars who led them to success. They have used that same tactic again this summer and rightfully so due to the level of difficulty in the Premier League.

If their spending isn't yet over, Wolves should do all they can to bring Michail Antonio to the club.

The English winger currently plays for West Ham but after suffering from injury last season, his future at the club was in doubt. That doubt was further added to when West Ham recruited wingers Felipe Anderson and Andriy Yarmolenko as well this summer.

Michail Antonio, (who is valued at £13.5 million on Transfermarkt) is a powerful runner that isn't afraid of contesting with the opposition and especially in the air, the 28-year-old is a threat many teams struggle to handle.

Wolves have been reportedly linked to Adama Traore and although he may be younger and has more technical ability in his locker, Antonio has a wealth of Premier League experience now and he wants to be playing regular football.

A deal would be tricky but seeing the power that Wolves have in the transfer market, Antonio may just be persuaded to join the Premier League newcomers. If his true fitness and form can be recovered, on his day Antonio is a lot to handle and that is ideally what Wolves would be after as they head into their first season back in the big time.
