Spending serious money both this season and last, Wolverhampton Wanderers do not look like they are in the Premier League season simply to take part.
Signing talents such as Helder Costa for £13m, and this season more star signings joining the Black Country club has caused quite a star. With the help of Jorge Mendes, the Molinuex outfit have a very solid Premier League squad going into next season. Relegation worries will be far from the minds of the Wolves support.
After winning the Championship by a clear margin, there is a feel good factor at the club which could propel them onto great things next season.
That said, there is still a couple of deals Nuno Espirito Santo will be hoping to enter the club before pre-season gets into full flow…
Oleksandr Zinchenko has had limited opportunities at Manchester City so a move to the Black County would suit both club and player.
He can function as both a wing back and a winger, has bags of pace and great technical ability. Santos will be hoping he can wrap up the 21 year old before long.
The Lazio defender, who has spent time in Russia, is another option Santos is considering. The club already have a richly talented defence however, so whether he needs to bring in Bastos is questionable.
He only played around half of Lazio’s games last season however, so the Angolan may be angling for a move.
