Wolverhampton Wanderers will have their sights set on pushing even closer towards securing a European place with a win over Burnley tomorrow. Indeed, Watford are set to take on Manchester United at Old Trafford tomorrow, so Nuno Espirito Santo’s side could steer clear.
The Midlands club will be proud of their side regardless of whether European football is secured, but Wolves fans would definitely love to go on a European tour next season, that’s for sure.
Indeed, one player who will no doubt play a big part in the Old Gold’s pursuit of a European place will be Jorge Mendes’ brilliant Wolves signing, Ruben Neves. The super-agent has played a massive part in a number of signings in recent years at Molineux, but Neves may just be the pick of the bunch.
And, it appears as if Daily Mail journalist Sami Mokbel has also liked what he’s seen from the Portugal international as he named him as his pick for most underrated player in the Premier League.
‘Portuguese starlet helped Wolves storm the Championship and has now taken to the Premier League like a duck to water. Quietly goes about his business in central midfield. ‘
Indeed, the central midfielder is rather underrated as he’s been sublime in the Premier League in recent times, with his wide range of passing and calmness on the ball making him a joy to watch.
Ruben Neves really is a special talent and he will no doubt go on to achieve great things at the very top level, whether that’s with Wolves or a European powerhouse. It’s safe to say that he doesn’t disappoint when he gets on the scoresheet as he only produces magnificent goals, which has created plenty of excitement around Molineux.
The crazy thing is that he’s only 22-years-old so he could turn out to be one of the world’s best, which is why it’s vital that Wolves give him what he wants and meet their aims.
