Wolverhampton Wanderers: Fans discuss Ruben Vinagre’s comments

Plenty of Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been discussing Ruben Vinagre’s comments that he made to Record (via Sports Witness) about which Portuguese players he would bring in to the Midlands club.
To make things harder, the 21-year old was told that he could not pick Cristiano Ronaldo, so instead he opted to go for the Manchester City duo of Bernardo Silva and Joao Cancelo.
Indeed, these can be seen to be pretty smart choices, but some Wanderers supporters disagreed and voiced their own opinions on Talking Wolves‘ Twitter page.
The names that were thrown about included the likes of Ruben Dias, Raphael Guerreiro, Jose Fonte, Rafa Silva, Bruno Fernandes and Joao Felix.
Vinagre is yet to break into the senior Portuguese international team but has made 62 appearances in all competitions for WWFC, scoring three goals and providing two assists, as per Transfermarkt.
These supporters discussed the left-back’s picks, with one fan claiming that he would be happy just to keep Ruben Neves, another man from Portugal of course:
Raphaël Guerreiro or André Silva, 100%.

Rafa Silva without doubt if kept fit, won’t happen but the way Felix is playing right now he isn’t good enough for Ath Madrid so maybe a loan to help both parties

Bruno and Felix 1000%

Bruno Fernandes and Cancelo.. need a good central attacking mid and cover/competition for Doherty

Cancelo but honestly I can’t think of a player of this team that should be dropped to anyone
