Wolverhampton Wanderers: Fans elated after Raul Jimenez releases statement
Wolverhampton Wanderers fans were feeling elated after Raul Jimenez released a statement on his Facebook page over his future at the club.
In a video on the social media site, the Mexico international revealed that him remaining at the club isn’t dependent on Wolves being able to qualify for the Champions League. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are in contention to reach the lucrative competition as they sit just five points off fourth-placed Chelsea and are in the driving seat in their Europa League last-16 tie with Olympiacos.
One fan claimed he was ‘chuffed’.

The centre-forward has been on fire this season, having scored 22 goals and assisted a further 10 in just 44 games across all competitions. His form has been so good his value has risen from just £31.5m back in the summer of 2019, all the way to £45m as of the March the 9th, as per Transfermarkt.
