Lots of Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been lauding a ‘rocket’ that was scored by former left-back Mark Kennedy as it was shared on the Midlands club’s official Twitter page.
The goal was scored away at Manchester City’s ground on the 10th April 2004 as the clip showed a first-time strike from the former Irish international which arrowed into the top corner from outside of the box. David James was left helpless in between the sticks as Kennedy went on to celebrate.
The 43-year old made 172 appearances in all competitions for Wolves across five seasons, scoring 12 goals and providing two assists, according to Transfermarkt.
Kennedy also played for Liverpool, Milton Keynes Dons, Manchester City, Ipswich Town, Crystal Palace and Cardiff City, as well as earning 35 senior international caps for his native country, as per the website.
These Wanderers supporters lauded the throwback strike from their ex-ace, with one fan branding it a ‘rocket’ and others showing their appreciation in their own way:

Can’t look past it though, what a shocking corner from Camara, he was terrible at corners, but great strike from Kennedy.
