Loads of Wolverhampton Wanderers fans are overjoyed regarding the transfer news that Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius is set to turn down a £7 million move to the Midlands club.
According to the Daily Star, the 26-year old is looking to secure regular first team football and does not think that he will get that with Rui Patricio currently the main keeper for the Wanderers.
As per the report, Karius is deemed to be surplus to requirements at Anfield and would like to move to a team that can offer him regular game time, but that may be difficult at WWFC.
The German will join up with the Reds once his loan at Besiktas expires, but apparently there is no way back for him under his compatriot Jurgen Klopp.
Karius is believed to have filed a complaint to FIFA accusing the Turkish club of failing to pay his wages since the Super Lig season was suspended last month (Sky Sports). He is now looking to terminate his contract at Vodafone Park and head back to England.
Besiktas did have the option to buy him outright for £7.25m this summer, but that is highly unlikely now given the fallout over unpaid wages.
These Wolves supporters were overjoyed when they heard the news on Twitter:
