Loads of Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have praised ex-player Kevin Muscat after the club’s official Twitter page shared a clip of one of his goals against Ipswich Town in the 1998/99 season.
The strike was described as ‘an absolute screamer’ as Muscat thumped the ball from 30 yards before it went in off the crossbar to secure a 1-0 win at Molineux in the last game of that campaign, according to the club’s official website.
As per the article, the former central defender spent five seasons with the Wanderers, where he scored 15 goals in 201 matches. Wolves posted a quiz where supporters can test their knowledge by submitting who they think was in the squad for that game in the festive period.
Muscat was certainly one of those players, but the Midlands-based side is not the only team that he has represented. The 46-year old has also played for Millwall, Crystal Palace and Rangers in the UK, as well as Melbourne Victory in his native Australia, whilst he has also made 52 appearances for the Aussie national team, as per Transfermarkt.
These fans praised their former man on Twitter:

I’m sure this match was on Sky,but I’ve never seen a reply of the goal from a different angle,I was right behind the goal and the ball moved 2 or 3 directions in the air,it was an unbelievable hit,Richard Wright had no chance!
